About Wine Tasting
The FM Neighbors Wine Tasting group meets once a month.
The host family selects the theme and the wines to taste. Typically we taste 3 reds and 2 whites. If you are not comfortable being a host family, no problem.
Everyone brings a dish to pass, so there is always an abundance of great hors d’oeuvres, deserts, and other food to share before, during and after the wine tasting.
You do not have to be a wine aficionado to enjoy this educational & fun social activity. We are a very casual group who just enjoy trying new wines and socializing. You can just enjoy wine, you'll fit right in!
If your signiant other does not drink wine, there is always some non-alcoholic beverage available.
Usually the cost of wine is between $7 to $12.
Once a year we sometimes hold a “high end” wine tasting. We serve a gourmet diner and have a chance to sample wines that may cost up to $50 per bottle!

We had a very small group in April, 2016 due to many people traveling and being unavailable. The French Rhone wine and food was great with excellent conversation.
